Ride....

Here I am at the mall just hanging out before I go and try on tuxes with my Mom and Aunt Becky. Almost Uncle Jason was there too. He took me on a special ride at the mall....

Here we are walking up stairs to the carousel so I can go on the ride!! I am very excited and can't stop talking the whole way!!!

Here we are on the carousel. I was so excited for the ride and to ride on the animals but once I got up close those animals were scary!!! I was glad Almost Uncle Jason and Aunt Becky were there otherwise I would have been very scared. I did have a few tears but we found this bench and that is where we finished the ride. Mom wasn't there b/c she was shopping for me so maybe next time Mom will ride it with me and I won't be as scared.

I have to wear a tux??

Last night I went with my Mom and Aunt Becky to try on tuxes for Aunt Becky's wedding. It didn't go as well as my Mom planned.....

This is the only picture I would let my Mom take. The jacket was too big and I thought I looked silly. Mom is going to have to go shopping for one that fits me. I found other things to do that entertained me more.....

...like trying to close the tux store early. I just love closing and opening doors

I also love playing hide and seek with my Mom. No matter how hard I try she always find me....she is a good seeker.....

Here I am again making my Mom chase me. She goes to the gym almost everyday so I figure I am helping her get an extra workout. She should really thank me!

Oma and Papa's new location....

Mom and I got back from visiting my Oma and Papa in Washington at the beginning of June. We had a great time. Here are some of the highlights....

It was a good thing I was along and had a map or else we would have gotten lost. I am now known as Papa's back seat Mapquest. Now if I could just figure out how to open the map......

I was so happy to see "my" puppy Katers!!! She loves me alot and even lets me take naps with her in her bed. It was a little small so maybe next time we'll sleep in my bed.

A man that works for my Papa at (Botanical Laboratories) BotLab, bob J. and his wife Mo, invited us over to see their trains, I LOVED IT!! It was in his backyard and there were bridges that the train went over; it went through small villages and even forests.

Another one of my Papa's co-workers invited us out to her house on Lummi Island. We had to take a ferry to the island and that a was big treat!! Dinner was very good but I only ate the corn bread, they didn't have grilled cheese or peanut butter and jelly, the only things I really like for meals. MaMa thinks I am a picky eater......silly MaMa!!! Papa's co-worker let us take their convertible so we could tour the island. There were lots of artists on the island that we visited with lots of beautiful things. I couldn't touch ANYTHING!!

I did get sick while we were gone, double ear infection, but I was sure glad Papa was there to hold me, Thank you Papa!! Thank you Oma for rocking me to sleep that night and for singing to me. You know the best songs. I love you!!!

Thank you Oma and Papa for the great two weeks!! I can't wait to come back for Christmas. I love you!

I can sleep anywhere.....

Jack had gone to work with me and must have played hard. I work at MVP Sportsplex, the local gym, in the Kids Stuff area. This is the place where Moms and Dads drop off their kids while they work out. I made him lunch and went into the office to check e-mail. I was gone maybe two minutes, not alot of e-mails that morning, and when I returned he had fallen asleep in his chair. I called Chris and he was on his way home so he asked me to let him sleep like that until he got home so that he could see him.
He is so peaceful when he is sleeping.....

GOING....

GOING......

GONE.

Hoops anyone?

I love basketball. I am getting so good at it I can even make outside shots with my eyes closed. Full ride here I come!! I think Mom said the Michigan recuits have been calling. To all the Michigan fans out there, I now know how to say "GO BLUE"!!!! I learned it from the Michigan can opener my Oma and Papa gave us. I am working on the fight song as we speak. As you can see my Dad is a hands-on coach. He usually sits in my glider and rebounds for me. At MVP where my Mom works I get to play hoops all day and wait till you see my dribble!

HILTON HEAD MARCH 2006

Oma and Papa have a time share in Hilton Head, SC. This was my first trip to HH and I already want to go back. This trip was fun b/c my Oma and Papa were there along with my Aunt Becky and my almost Uncle Jason. My GeeGee (Great-Grandma V) and my Great-Grandpa V were also there. We had three condos all on the same floor so I could visit everyone.

Jack loved the beach in Hilton Head!! All that room to run!! He thought the seagulls were great and I think he wanted to pet them like he pets Katers, my parents dog. But they never seemed to stay no matter how fast he ran.

Jack is also a HUGE sports fan!! He had a great time playing "football" with his Dad on the beach .

Here is one of my favorite pictures of Jack. Thank you Oma and Papa for a great trip to Hilton Head. I can't wait to go back!!

Where's Jack????

Sunday June 25, 2006 so here we begin our blogging adventure. Please read this before looking at the picture below. Sunday, Chris and Jack were taking their usual Sunday afternoon naps. Jack woke up, I got him and as usual he wanted his DaDa. I brought him in to see Chris and we all crawled into bed. A few minutes later Jack crawls out of bed and starts playing in the living room. A few minutes pass and I begin thinking it's way to quiet in the next room and when things are quiet with a 20 month old you know something is going on. I begin looking for Jack, not in the office, not in his room, not in the living room, dining room, kitchen or screen-in-porch. I think maybe he is in the basement. As I got to the top of the stairs I notice that the door to the garage was slightly open. Then I hear Jack talking to himself. And this is what I found, sippy cup and all......

...he turned and said "ride, ride, bye bye, bye bye"...he was just patiently waiting for Chris or me to take him on a wagon ride!! He was too cute not to take a picture and after I took the picture the camera battery went dead. All Jack did was look at me and say "more, more". He LOVES to have his picture taken!!!
